A budget of about €8 billion for 2021-2027 is dedicated to the European Defence Fund, the European Commission’s initiative to support collaborative defence research and development, and to foster an innovative and competitive defence industrial base.
As announced in the previous news, European Defence Fund open the first 37 calls for proposal of 2021-2027 programme » Wheesbee, the first 37 EDF calls for proposal have been opened on 09 September 2021, with a total budget of €1.789 billion.
Today, with a total budget of about €924 million, the 2022 EDF call for proposals, covering 33 topics, is opening with the following categories of actions:
